YOUN JUNG KIM is a New York City-based photographer whose work celebrates the world's beauty through a female-centric lens, blending a South Korean minimal aesthetic with NYC's vibrant, dynamic influences. She aims to create intimate atmospheres with her subjects, exploring facets of femininity, emotion, and connection. Kim's photography practice is rooted in tradition, using film and darkroom printing to convey the emotions of her subjects and spaces. Before becoming a full-time photographer, she immersed herself in theater, film, and music as a singer, actor, and director, providing her with a multifaceted perspective on storytelling.
She was recently selected as a finalist for the 2025 Photovogue Women by Women festival.
